Anyone, regardless of background, can learn design.  (Trust us, it’s not rocket surgery!)

While it’ll be more challenging if you don’t have design experience at all, our course is taught in a way that anyone, from any background can understand.

While various articles mention that UX Designers earn up to $50,000+ in their first year, in the Philippines, the number is much closer to $7,000 to $12,000. Enrolling in a Master’s Degree or a UX bootcamp means shelling out an equivalent of 1 to 2 year’s salary, just for the possibility of securing your first full-time UX job. Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) have a completion rate of 6-13% for their 30-minute to 2-hour pre-recorded UX classes. With these limited choices for UX education, you’re often left on your own to understand the full breadth of UX.

UX+ University allows anyone in the Philippines, regardless of background or experience, to learn UX and transition into a UX career. Our classes are taught online, part-time, so that you don’t have to take a leave from work or quit your existing job. We have instructors that are committed to your progress and teach you each step of UX from scratch.

After graduation, you’ll end up with three UX case studies for your portfolio. Our career coaches will assist you in fixing your CV, preparing you for interviews, and helping you find a suitable UX role. Best of all, you’ll get world-class UX education at a rate that’s not prohibitive, and much more affordable relative to the market income for new UX Designers.

You can also opt for an Income Share Agreement (ISA), with no obligation to pay for tuition until you’re hired.

Students must allot at least 15 hours a week for the course. This includes attending classes (250+ total hours) and accomplishing assignments outside class hours.

Yes! After graduation, our career coaches will help and review your CV, practice your interviews, and seek out job openings for you to apply to. We don’t guarantee that you’ll get a job right away, but as long as both our outcomes are aligned (our graduates landing a suitable UX job), we’ll do everything we can to help.

Graduates of UX+ University are mostly hired as UX Designers or Product Designers. Some are also hired for specialized roles, such as UX Researchers and UI Designers.

Students must:
• Be at least 18 years old
• Be based in the Philippines
• Pass the application and interview process
• Allot at least 15 hours per week to attend class and complete projects and assignments
• Be able to attend 90% of the classes
• Have a working computer or laptop and a stable internet connection
• Have a growth mindset and the motivation to learn

We offer 3 payment types:
• Single Payment Upfront ($1,970 or ₱98,500 one-time via Paypal or bank transfer, due at the start of the course.)
• Three-Month Installment ($740 or ₱37,000 per month for 3 months via Paypal, due at the start of the course.)
• Income Share Agreement (No upfront payment to start and finish the course. Once you get hired or if you already have a job upon graduation or withdrawal, you’ll pay 16% of your pre-tax monthly income for 24 months.)

We follow a fixed screening process. If you do well on the application and interview, we will get you on board as long as there are still slots.

Accepted students need to have a computer, a stable internet connection, and a quiet workspace. We'll take care of the rest.

Our instructors and mentors are UX leaders and senior UX professionals, that have been teaching UX (formally or informally) for at least 8 years. Our instructors teach you the course materials and conducts the overall facilitation of the activities. Our mentors are there for the 1-on-1 coaching, assistance, and guidance for our students
